We Love: Lily’s Kitchen

PetsPyjamas love Lily’s Kitchen which produces delicious organic and holistic pet food from wholesome natural, ingredients.

The brand was set up by Henrietta after her adorable dog, Lily, developed various health problems as a result of the unnatural ingredients found in dog food. With Lily’s Kitchen, the aim is to improve the way we feed our pets and improve their health and well being.

Make your very own home made delicious fishy treats with this doggy recipe exclusively from Lily’s Kitchen:

Many dogs go crazy for fish and this is a good way of getting them to eat a really healthy, low fat snack which they will adore. Feed 2 or 3 of these a day. They are also fun and very easy to make!

Homemade fish treats for dogs

1 tin of tuna or salmon

1 egg

100g flour

Empty out the fish into a bowl.

Add in the beaten egg.

Add in the flour and mix together.

You should have a lumpy dough now.

You can either roll out the dough and cut up into small square, or pick up small pieces of dough and roll into little balls.

Place the shapes on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake in a medium oven for 20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

Once they are cooled, keep in a container. They will keep in the fridge for a week.
