Heidi & Lulu’s first fashion show for London Fashion Week

PetsPyjamas’ fashion girls Norfolk terrier, Heidi, and Cavachon rescue dog, Lulu, attended their first London Fashion Week show on Wednesday night! Despite the rain they arrived promptly at the super dog-friendly Athenaeum Hotel to a very warm welcome.

They were there with their owners Denise and Camilla to see a fashion show of paw couture by delightful pet accessory company, Hiro + Wolf. Before the show the girls had a lovely chat with porter Andrew who gave them a little tour of the hotel and a towel to dry them off so they looked their best. They even had a sneaky little biscuit prior to the show.

Finally we were all lead through to the event. There was champagne and canapés for the humans – with cakes shaped like dog faces, bone shaped biscuits and very tempting sausage rolls – all too tempting for Heidi and Lulu.

We were joined at our table by presenter and fashion blogger Olivia Cox and her boyfriend Mike who loved Heidi and Lulu despite the fact that they were being rather naughty and trying to get at the sausages.

The show began with models and dogs dressed to impress and even a dog walked down the runway in the basket of a bike! It was quite a show and Rufus and Heidi disgraced themselves by barking every time one of the model dogs passed. We secretly thought it was because they weren’t the models and they were a bit jealous.

Lisa from Hiro + Wolf said of the collection, “We have mirrored the colours for spring/summer 16 with a range of pet accessories in botanical colours.”

We all loved the fabulous collars, leads and coats and especially Bee and Lisa’s dogs modelling the Pearly King and Queen coats!

PetsPyjamas will definitely be snapping up all these new styles and bringing them to you soon.
