The largest of the terrier breeds, the fun-loving Airedale Terrier needs lots of physical and mental stimulation to prevent him from becoming a bit too rowdy. Using training tools and a variety of toys and games should keep them entertained whilst regular walks and runs help to exhaust their high energy levels. Their strong hunting instinct means they should be kept on a sturdy lead near traffic and small animals.
