Naturally a working breed, the Beauceron requires a lot of physical and mental stimulation- ideally they should be able to go for walks where it is safe for them to be let off the lead. Their thirst for activity means that they enjoy playing with lots of toys and will also benefit greatly from a variety of training- general behavioural training is essential because of their size and strength, but they often enjoy agility.
