A larger sized Schnauzer, the Giant Schnauzer is very powerful so they need firm training using treats as an incentive and positive encouragement. The Giant Schnauzer is prone to bloating so it helps to give them 2-3 smaller meals each day.  Using a small dog bowl can help to control portion sizes, and it is also best to use a high quality dog food.   The Giant Schnauzer should have a water bowl available at all times.
