Miniature Schnauzers are a smaller version of the Standard Schnauzer and their petite size means they can be handily carried in a pet carrier. When indoors, they are fairly calm and happy sleeping on their dog bed. However, when outside their vermin-hunting instinct means they need to be kept on a lead in unenclosed areas.
