Their Beagle background means they love to track scents so they may need to be kept on a harness and lead in unenclosed areas. Pug parentage has made them sensitive to extreme weather. They need a jumper in the cold and in the summer they will need shade- which can take the form of a kennel in the garden. There should be a water bowl nearby at all times.
