Unlike the slightly tougher coats usually associated with Terrier breeds, the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier sports a soft, silky coat that is remarkably easy to care for.  Regular combing should be enough to keep it all in order (using a comb is better than a brush as the latter can make their coat feel frizzy). Easy going by nature, the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier enjoys lots of exercise and will run around or play with toys for hours on end. They also, however, enjoy lazing about on their dog bed!
