The Tibetan Mastiff's longish coat sets him apart from the rest of the Mastiff world.  This coat needs to be brushed quite often, and during their shedding period (which usually lasts for about a month when the temperature starts heating up) Tibetan Mastiffs need daily brushing.  Prone to ear infections, it's important to give their ears a good clean using specialist wipes or solution.
