Though smaller than his English cousin, the Welsh Springer Spaniel has similar friendly, family orientated characteristics and will want to be included in everything! Originally bred for hunting, they need a good, daily walk to keep them healthy and happy. They particularly enjoy the chance to run free where this is possible and safe. Regular brushing should keep their coat clean, but for particularly mucky pups a bath with a special dog shampoo will go down a treat!
