With no road sense whatsoever, the energetic Plott Hound is a liability off the lead near traffic. Bursting with energy, they need to be taken to a safe area to let off steam! Having worked up a big appetite, they love to guzzle down lots of food! However, as they are prone to bloating, it is important to feed them two or three small meals each day rather than one large one. Unsurprisingly, given their slightly greedy nature, they can be quite possessive of their food bowls and should be trained to prevent this.
