Battersea Carol Concert

Start warming up those vocal chords! Battersea Dogs & Cats Home are hosting their annual carol concert tonight at St Luke’s Church on Sydney Street in Chelsea, London – and PetsPyjamas are looking forward to attending this year.

Battersea dog residents will be joining in with the carolling fun – “Bark, the herald angels sing…” – as well as welcoming visitors to the service. Mulled wine and mince pies will also be served to the humans as they enjoy the beautiful surroundings of St Luke’s Church.

Director of Fundraising for Battersea Liz Tait said: “Carrying on from the success of last year’s concert, we’re hoping to up the ante in 2014 and spread the Christmas cheer even further in support of our guests of honour – the Home’s amazing rescue dogs.  Christmas is a particularly busy time for us at Battersea, with more lost and abandoned dogs and cats coming into the Home than any other time of year. We’d love for everyone to come along and join us in celebrating the festive season and giving our homeless dogs and cats a Christmas filled with love in 2014.”

Tickets are no longer available online but if you’re planning on joining (doors open at 7pm), there will be some tickets available to buy at the door. All proceeds will go towards the charity.
