A poodle at Mulberry

1. Mulberry, London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2012.

Mulberry really love dogs, a fact that became even more obvious back in 2012. Gorgeous poodles strutted alongside models in matching colours and prints. We’d never taken fashion inspiration from a poodle before, but this show changed everything. PetsPyjamas mascots, Rufus and Heidi, were so besotted that they quickly chased down an interview with Mulberry’s star poodle, Max. Get the stylish pup’s look with a gorgeous printed harness.

franck sorbier 1

2. Franck Sorbier, Paris Fashion Week 2010.

Pairing a floral gown with a canine companion is a pretty bold move that might not work in the real world. We recommend a simple floral collar for a more wearable take on this runway show.

3. Isaac Mizrahi, New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011.

We’re not so sure about the pink fur, but we do love pink accessories! Why not try a splash of pink for your pup’s accessories, or go bold by contrasting your candy coloured outfit with a classic black leather lead?

4. Moncler, Milan Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2011.

Monochrome shades look best with a pop of colour, as shown at Moncler, where models in greys and blacks strutted down the runway with a dog in a red, white, and blue lead and harness set.

poodle raul del pozo

5. Raul del Pozo, Madrid Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2008.

Another instance of matching your pet’s fur to your outfit, but a little more grown up. Models in shimmering nude gowns looked stunning with peach-furred poodles, but we couldn’t help be distracted by that gorgeous thick rope lead – timelessly stylish.

tracy reece

6. Tracy Reese, New York Fashion Week 2013.

The first cat on the runway made a huge splash at New York Fashion Week. We adore this effortlessly cool look, and will be snapping it up immediately with plenty of black and a touch of bright floral prints.

7. Trussardi, Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013.

Looking dapper in elegant brown leather leads, gorgeous greyhounds added an air of class to Trussardi’s show in Milan. We all know that classic investment pieces will never go out of style, and a sophisticated leather lead is definitely one of those essential additions to a pet’s wardrobe.

vaute couture

8. Vaute Couture, New York Fashion Week 2013.

Oversized bows made chihuahuas look especially adorable at the Vaute Couture show in New York. We recommend a bow collar for every occasion – it’s an easy style upgrade that guarantees your pet will look fabulous.

agi and sam

9. Agi & Sam, London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2013.

We’re big fans of mixing prints here at PetsPyjamas, and love to see a menswear show taking risks with plenty of vibrant colours and patterns. Don’t leave your pet out of the fun. Try a fun patterned coat to make sure your dog looks smart in the colder months ahead.

michael bastian

10. Michael Bastian, New York Fashion Week, Autumn/Winter 2012.

The dogs at the Michael Bastian New York show were the epitome of pet elegance. We adore this combination of high quality pieces in rich Autumnal colours – people and pets look especially classy in shades of grey, navy, and deep red. To get this look, kit out your pup in this gorgeous navy coat.
