I love taking Lulu everywhere with me – she is super sociable and is happy to come out for brunch, lunch or drinks. Everywhere we go we are stopped and people ask about her breed (Cavachon) and we tell them her story and how we got her from the Dogs Trust and what a wonderful job they do. It’s brilliant as if I am worried about anything I know that I can ring them at any time for expert advice.
Lulu Loves Top 10 Favourite Places
The Good Life Eatery – Sloane Avenue
The most delicious granola with fruit and coconut yoghurt or for something more substantial the skinny eggs Benedict. Full of lots of glamorous gym bunnies with their dogs. We always get chatting to someone and they are really pet-friendly.
Colbert – Sloane Square
They love dogs here! The right side of the restaurant is designated dog-friendly day and night. Last time I took Lulu there she was presented with a giant bone and big bowl of water. We love the French café atmosphere – great any time for coffee, a glass of wine or a bowl of moules marinières.
Hally’s – Parsons Green, Fulham
Lovely Californian beach style neighbourhood café. The glamorous owner Anna has a lovely Irish Terrier, Arthur, and dogs are welcomed here. Lots of people pop in after a dog walk in Hurlingham Park as well as yummy mummies post doggies and buggies. Delicious granola and smashed avocado on toast. Very sociable for doggies and humans. Lulu has also made a new Cockapoo friend here.
Little Hally’s – Parsons Green, Fulham
Hally’s little sister across the road. Delicious green dream juice and perfect for a quick take away coffee.
The Brown Cow – Fulham Road
Pet-friendly pub, restaurant that’s always buzzing. Lulu and I come for drinks here but dogs are allowed in the restaurant area too. Famous for their home made Scotch eggs.
The Sporting Page – Chelsea
A bit of an institution and a great place to meet up with friends.
Bluebird – Kings Road
Dogs are only allowed on the outside concourse but there are heaters and blankets and it’s such fun to watch the world go by. Lulu always gets lots of attention here.
Goddard Veterinary – Kings Road
Lulu loves going to the Vet! Andrew and Sarah are always so charming and chatty and Lulu enjoys being weighed and given a treat.
South Park and Hurlingham Park – Fulham
Great for an off the lead run around and to meet up with her doggie friends.
Taylor St Baristas – Shoreditch
A great place to take Lulu when I am working in Shoreditch. It’s small but they always extend a warm welcome and the coffee is the best.
