Me & My Pet: Georgia Toffolo

We talk to I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! winner and Made in Chelsea Star Georgia Toffolo about her life with Monty in both Scotland and London and her campaign to improve pet’s health.

What are you working on at the moment?

It’s been hectic launching our new Wild Pack treats. They sit alongside our mainline raw food offering. It’s so exciting to finally have them on the market.

When did you get Monty, what breed is he and what made you fall in love with him?

I got Monty from a breeder (unplanned) and thank goodness I did! The minute I figured out that his nature was incredibly kind I fell head over heels in love. You can’t teach a dog kindness which is why I cherish it in Monty. His beautiful little expressive face is just the cherry on top.

What is a typical day for you and Monty?

If we are in London, it’s trainers on and down to the beach if the tide is out (yes we live near some sand on the Thames which I like to call our beach!) then down to our local cafe for a cup of tea and a bacon sarnie if I’m feeling particularly hungry. If we’re in Scotland, it’s wellies on and straight into the big field at the back of our house. We split our time equally between both and I feel incredibly lucky to do so. Monty suits both city and country life!

Does Monty get on well with your boyfriend James?

Monty adores James. Their bond is pretty special. Mont loves going to the BrewDog office with him, he sits in on all the meetings and has his own sofa. Occasionally he will come home smelling of beer!

Do you travel a lot with Monty – does he love Scotland?

Yes, he is always with me. He is extremely happy when we are in Scotland. He has discovered a passion for paddle boarding which was a shock to us all as he used to hate water. We have ordered him his own board and lifejacket so stay tuned on my social media for Mont content out on the water.

Does Monty have a best friend?

Yes her name is Marta. She is blonde and very pretty. She lives up in Scotland!

Does Monty prefer London or the countryside?

If Monty had his way we would live in Scotland full time. I understand why and I wouldn’t disagree!

Any funny incidents involving Monty?

Last weekend he hopped on 10 different people’s paddle boards in the harbour. We had to keep apologising and introducing them to him while asking if it was ok if he paddled with them. Everyone loved it thank goodness but I was slightly embarrassed! He just wouldn’t let anyone go without him, he didn’t care who he went with!

What do you feel strongly about with regard to animal welfare?

Favourite destinations and which PetsPyjamas hotel would you like to visit with Monty?
