PetsPyjamas sponsors Chelsea Dog Day

After a spectacular success last year, we couldn’t wait to be part of this year’s Dog Day – and our excitement was not misplaced!

Founded by none other than the iconic British retailer Trevor Pickett who works closely alongside Battersea Cats and Dogs Home, the day is a must see event in the canine calendar. Mr Pickett’s unwavering support of animal charities and his overall enthusiasm meant the afternoon was another hit, attracting a wonderful mixed crowd of show-stopping pooches, traditional mutts and a few pups who were on the lookout for new homes.

Our hearts melted when we were introduced to Luke, the 18 month old rough haired Collie from Battersea who is still trying to find a forever home (above). The smile on his face reminded us just how important these events are for pups like Luke all over the country.

The fun kicked off at 4.30 in the afternoon, complete with pup-cakes for the four-legged kind and Prosecco and bubble-dogs for their equally chic owners. We were delighted to be able to sponsor this year’s Best in Class award, and even more pleased to see that some of the pampered pooches were sporting some on-trend PetsPyjamas accessories!

Another year, another success – thanks to Trevor Pickett for organising such a wonderful Dog Day out at the beautiful Chelsea Harbour.
