Community rescues stray puppy from drain

A community in Texas all joined forces to help rescue a Labrador puppy from the bottom of a storm drain. It is thought the two month old stray puppy was trapped at the bottom of the drain for several days, until a local school teacher heard his faint barks and rallied the community together to organise a rescue operation.
Both fire rescue crews and the Dallas animal control team worked together to lift the puppy from the drain, bringing him back to street level completely unharmed.
The puppy was taken in by Dallas Animal Services and Adoption centre, and has now been found a loving home with a local family.
