Our favourite pair of Spaniels, Severus and Lily from @spaniellife, paid a visit to The Lamb Inn in Burford to try out their delicious doggie menu…
Christmas time is the most fun time of the year because we bump into fellow furry friends, are spoilt by our owners and get to snuggle up by cosy fires.
When Mum mentioned trying out the dog menu at Cotswold inn, The Lamb, we just knew we had to invite our friend, Alfie Bear @_alfiebear, to try it out with us.
The Lamb is a sweet and very cosy pub and hotel, featuring many lounges and bar areas that welcome dogs with well-behaved owners. Based in the quaint village of Burford, it’s the perfect Cotswold venue for a night away or catch up with friends of both two and four-legged varieties.
Dressed for the occasion, we all looked dapper in our matching Teddy Maximus bow ties, ready to feast.
While the humans decided on warm scones with cream and jam, along with hot chocolate, us pooches knew it was only fair to try out the dog menu.
Alfie went for the beef, while Lily and I picked the chicken dish.
All the dishes are made to order fresh, with yummy vegetables and gravy. We got an extra big portion for being such good dogs!
There were fires lit all around, cosy chairs and warm laps to snuggle on. We were given a bowl of water and treats by the table before we even sat down.
While the Mums chatted about what they were buying us for Christmas, we sniffed around the place and got fussed over by the staff, trying our best “Spaniel eyes” to get extra treats that were on offer.
The dog menu consists of three items, fish, beef and chicken and range from £5-£7 per dish. Although we were told our serving was larger than normal, it still seemed great value for money and a true feast for us furry ones. A true dog lovers dream to take your dog for dinner…there’s no need to leave us behind!
Thanks to The Lamb for having us on our Spaniel date, we can’t wait to try out more of the Cotswold Inn hotels!
