Current world record holder Missi, a Maine coon from\u00a0Finland boasts whiskers measuring 7 inches and has held this record since 2005.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/whiskers.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17607 aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/whiskers.jpg\" alt=\"whiskers\" width=\"618\" height=\"753\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Despite having such an extraordinary feature, the pretty feline who recently had a litter of kittens is\u00a0looking for a new home.\u00a0Gill Canning, a volunteer who is currently fostering Whisker\u2019s at her home in Somerset under the\u00a0Cats Protection charity, told the Daily Mail she hopes the feline\u2019s new found fame will help her find a\u00a0loving family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are certainly the longest whiskers I have ever seen and they make her look very pretty\u00a0indeed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHer kittens had really long whiskers too, so I think it runs in the family.
