Courtney Dasher and her Insta-famous Chiweenie Tuna reveal the highlights of their dog-friendly seaside break\u00a0to The Cary Arms\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

My fianc\u00e9 and I wanted to take a trip out of London to celebrate our recent engagement, as well as my birthday, but we were overwhelmed with options on where to visit in England. Although it\u2019s a small country, it\u2019s rich with places to explore, so I was stumped on where to go. I\u2019ve been told many times that the English seaside is stunning so I wanted to \u201csea\u201d it for myself.<\/p>\n

I emailed our friends at PetsPyjamas for some suggestions because we would of course be bringing our small dog Tuna with us, and PetsPyjamas has never let us down in the past. They immediately booked us a stay at The Cary Arms<\/a>, located on Babbacombe Bay on the south Devon coast. Based on the criteria that I gave them, they curated one of the best holidays that we have been on to date!<\/p>\n

I almost don\u2019t have words to describe how lovely our stay at The Cary Arms was, but I will do my best because all I want to do is rave about it! From the moment we arrived, it was love at first sight. The charming inn was tucked away on a cliff over-looking the beautiful English Channel, and upon arrival we were led to one of a few newly built, pet-friendly, Beach Huts that overlooked the sea as well.<\/p>\n

The view was breath-taking, as was the interior of the two-storey Beach Hut. The design was contemporary but still felt very traditionally beachy and was overall disarming and stunning. It was incredibly cosy and we felt right at home!<\/p>\n

The massive wall-to-wall, full bi-fold doors opened up to our large private sun-deck, so it always felt like we were outside. When it got chilly in the evening we turned up the temperature in the heated floors as well as the modern hologram fireplace, but just for a cute effect. There was a complimentary mini bar which included snacks, drinks and some amazing sloe gin.<\/p>\n

Tuna, most importantly, was greeted with a snuggly bed, a ball thrower and a custom pet box from PetsPyjamas, filled with yummy treats and amazing new toys, a delightful gift that PPJ gives to each furry guest when you book through them.<\/p>\n

The inn was equipped with a delicious seaside, pet-friendly restaurant with views that are breathtakingly beautiful! They even have a private pod overlooking the sea, where we dined in to celebrate my birthday, and watched the sunset. It was magical, especially in the light rain! Later that evening, we met up in the residents\u2019 club room and had a doggie play-date with our Beach Hut neighbour\u2019s dogs.<\/p>\n

In our other free moments, we swam in the sea, took long beautiful walks to appreciate our stunning surroundings and we even spotted two adorable seals in the bay who are apparently mainstay attractions. We also went kayaking in the bay thanks to our new friend Wayne of the caf\u00e9 at Babbacombe Bay.<\/p>\n

Overall, we had THE BEST time at The Cary Arms thanks to our friend\u2019s at PetsPyjamas. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable. We will definitely be back for another visit, and I highly recommend this memorable place to anybody who wants a truly pet-friendly getaway in the English seaside<\/a>!<\/p>\n
