It\u2019s nearly that time of the year, when the nation is gripped by garish colours, glittery bobbles and fun festive puns \u2013 but it\u2019s all for a good cause! And a quartet of Corgis, decked out in PetsPyjamas festive finest have joined in the fun, showing the nation\u2019s pups that they too can get involved to make a difference.<\/span><\/p>\n

Save the Children\u2019s annual fundraiser falls on Friday 16th December 2016 with the aim to raise money to help clothe, feed and make children living in refugee camps feel safe this winter. <\/span><\/p>\n

To kick-start this year\u2019s fundraising, wax museum Madame Tussauds teamed up with the children\u2019s charity to deck out their most regal waxworks \u2013 The Royal Family \u2013 in a variety of woolly pullies. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Today Tuesday 6th December Madame Tussauds London royally kicked off Save the Children\u2019s Christmas Jumper Day by dressing waxworks in a variety of royal woolly knits.<\/em><\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Caught on camera, and then later hot-footing over to ITV\u2019s This Morning Studios, with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield to help promote the cause, Her Majesty the Queen was appropriately dressed in a woolly jumper featuring a Corgi, whereas the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge rocked a bright, two-person knit. Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall emulated Mrs Claus and Prince Harry\u2019s jumper featured a cheeky penguin.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Royal Family also had some Very Important Paws by their feet – the Queen\u2019s favourite breed of course. Corgis\u2019 Marcel (@marcel.lecorgi), Rupert (@Rupert_TheCorgi), Cuthbert (@cuthbertcorgi) and Jimmy all wore and modelled woolly knits of their own in the fashion of our gorgeous <\/span>Doggy Things<\/span><\/a> Snowflake Knitted Jumper, in a festive red and green colourway. <\/span><\/p>\n

If you want to see the royals in their woolly jumpers, they\u2019ll be on display at Madame Tussauds throughout December.<\/span><\/p>\n

A whole host of celebrities and fellow pet lovers will be joining in with the fun, including Jess Wright from TOWIE, former footballer Jamie Redknapp, actress Ashley Jensen and singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor.<\/span><\/p>\n
