Sev and Lily team up with Visit Wales to find the most dog friendly spots, explore North Wales and adventure up mountains and on lakes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Having visited South Wales and Pembrokeshire already, we were keen to visit somewhere new, so North Wales was on the list to try. Boasting stunning mountains, many lakes and fun for paws, we were keen to get going.<\/p>\n

The first stop took us to a Gypsy Caravan<\/a>, for our first taste of glamping. Just a short drive from a wonderful woodland and beach at Newborough, being able to run free and let off some spaniel steam after hours in the car.<\/p>\n

Staying cosy snuggled up with the humans, while they feasted on takeaway and did a great job and keeping the wood burner a light. Just a quick stop over before the adventure really started, as the next day we went Waterfall hunting.<\/p>\n

All of Wales is known for the stunning waterfalls, so we were excited to find it. Heading up hills, finding streams and eventually getting to the stunning Ceunant Mawr Falls. Of course any spaniel couldn’t help but play in the stream, whilst the humans made us pose for photos- adding to the beauty, of course. We even saw the Snowdon Mountain Railway pass, getting excited for our big climb the next day.<\/p>\n

With two tired pooches, we all headed back to check in to our Safari Tent for the week. Booked with Canopy and Stars<\/a>, everything perfect about dog friendly glamping… and even a hot tub! As we unpacked and made our selves at home, the humans got the fire roaring again, to make sure we kept warm.<\/p>\n

\nThe next morning was Snowdon day, after walking Pen-Y-Fan late last year, we were keen to go bigger and taller and tackle Snowdon. The highest mountain in Wales.
\nWe decided to do the Snowdon Ranger Path, being a less busy but still achievable. Sadly the sheep took over the hills, so staying on lead was needed, but we managed to help pull the humans up. The views as we went were amazing, so many lakes we spotted to swim in, and mountains scaling our whole view.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The climb took us around 7 hours in total, with a short photo opportunity at the summit, but sadly no dogs are allowed in the cafe up there. A quick snack stop for all of us, and ready to make our way back down the 1,085meters that the mountain stands above sea level. No doubt one of our best achievements as a fur-family.<\/p>\n

Our next adventure day took us to Bala Lake, with row boating and kayaking booked in for all of us. Although the weather wasn’t on our side, we all wrapped up warm and prepared for our sail around the stunning lake. Bala Adventure &\u00a0Watersports<\/a>\u00a0were great at helping us navigate through the wind, and Owen even gave us many fusses too.<\/p>\n

Next up was our favourite, kayaking. Wet suits donned [for the humans] and life jackets for us, we were ready to go. Standing proud at the front of the kayaks, and leading the way. We even went for a quick swim after, for being such good pooches.<\/p>\n
