Pack their favourite toys, treats, their own\u00a0dog food, bed or blanket (if not supplied by hotel), towel and waste bags. After being cooped up in the car they are liable to be on their\u00a0best behaviour anyway.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>During your stay<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Make sure you keep your dog under control and on the lead in all areas of the\u00a0hotel except your room.\u00a0 Try to keep them on the ground level and try to discourage them\u00a0from jumping up on sofas and the bed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Dining with your dog<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More and more hotels are happy to let you dine with your dog\u00a0provided they are kept close and don&#8217;t get in the way of the serving staff! Most hotels offer a handy list of dog walks of various different lengths with pub stops on the way,\u00a0with many providing an outdoor cleaning station for muddy pups on your return.
