It\u2019s not always easy to find places to eat that are truly dog-friendly, so we\u2019ve sniffed out some of the very best dog-friendly pubs in Wiltshire – where your hound will be as welcome as you are. <\/span><\/p>\n

Nestled away in the prettiest of Wiltshire villages, our selection of quintessentially British country pubs and gastropubs offer a delicious range of food and drink, as well as wood beams, roaring fires, lovely outdoor beer gardens and a cosy country pub atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\n

The White Hart, Swindon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Located in the heart of picturesque Wroughton, the dog-friendly White Hart<\/a> is a beautiful thatched Wiltshire pub with oodles of charm and a large beer garden. Their delicious seasonal menu focuses on locally sourced ingredients and includes hearty pub classics and a terrific roast on Sundays. Behind the bar there is a selection of award winning Butcombe beer. There’s a 6.5 mile circular walk from the door and the Ridgeway offers a number of tried and tested circular routes passing through gorgeous villages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Potting Shed, Crudwell<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Situated in the beautiful Cotswold triangle of Tetbury, Malmesbury and Cirencester, The Potting Shed<\/a> in the village of Crudwell is a perfect starting point or end stop for canine explorers and their owners. Exceptionally dog-friendly, four-legged friends can eat with you anywhere in the pub. However, with yummy dog biscuits at the bar, your pet will probably want to stay close by! The menu changes monthly but you can always be sure of fresh produce; the pub has two acres of gardens given over to a mixture of trees, lawns and The Potting Shed\u2019s very own vegetable patch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the menu you will find a mixture of small plates, handmade pies and there\u2019s a traditional pizza oven too. The offering at The Dog and Gun is cosy, relaxed and informal – super dog-friendly it also does an excellent Sunday roast.<\/p>\n
