5. Sandscale Haws to Roan Head Beach<\/b><\/h4>\n

Take this lovely circular five-mile walk with your best furry friend which leads you from Sandscale Haws Nature Reserve to Roan Head Beach. Your dog will love to run along this gorgeous expanse of sand and splash in the sea. The beach has large dunes and grassland and is three miles north of Barrow-in-Furness<\/a>. There are fabulous views of the Duddon Estuary and the Lake District<\/a> Fells. The beach is dog-friendly although it is advisable to keep your dog on a lead in areas within the National Trust Sandscale Haws Nature Reserve with its wealth of wildlife and over 600 wild plants. Park in the National Trust car park at Roanhead.<\/span><\/p>\n
