Fox Holes<\/a> – A Pawsome Paradise for Walkies<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Early morning walks were a highlight during our stay. <\/span>A short distance from Our Cottage <\/span>we <\/span>discovered the picturesque<\/span> Fox Holes, a beautiful walking trail with stunning views and ample space for my pup to explore. It was a tail-wagging experience!<\/span>\u00a0This idyllic walking trail allowed for off-lead roaming while we revelled in the Cotswold countryside’s beauty. Truly, a dog’s heaven on Earth!<\/span><\/p>\n

The Lygon Arms – Pampering Pleasures\"\"<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Taking a break from our outdoor adventures, we treated ourselves to a relaxing spa day at <\/span>the Lygon Arms<\/span><\/a>. <\/span>The impressive spa features treatment rooms, a pool with jacuzzi steam and sauna as\u00a0well as access to a gym (for those inclined) While we took full use of the spa facilities and enjoyed rejuvenating massages, our dog Steve was perfectly content being looked after by a local dog walker arranged by the hotel staff (dogs are allowed to be left in the rooms if staying). It was a day of pure bliss! <\/span>Not only is <\/span>the Lygon Arms<\/span><\/a> a beautiful luxury dog-friendly place to stay, but it also boasts a pet-friendly bar area! With Steve by our side, we sipped on local Cotswolds gins, enjoying the warm hospitality while planning our next escapades.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dormy House – A Luxurious Retreat\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Next, we checked out the dog-friendly Dormy House, a luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of the <\/span>Cotswolds. The award-winning restaurant at Dormy House has a dedicated dog-friendly section where the staff showered my furry friend with attention, and the food was delicious. We all felt very spoiled!<\/span><\/p>\n

Mo at Dormy House – A Dining Delight<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The true jewel in the Dormy house crown is the Michelin-starred chef table restaurant Mo, the concept restaurant, whilst not pup friendly is not to be missed. The Chefs prepare and serve up interesting, fresh seasonal produce as well as delicious customer favourites like grilled lobster tail and best-end local lamb all in front of you whilst explaining the provenance of the food. This is truly one for the Cotswolds bucket list.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Wild Rabbit, Kingham – A Sunday Roast To Remember\"\"<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

On a lovely Sunday, we ventured to <\/span>The Wild Rabbit<\/span><\/a>, Kingham, for their famous Sunday roast and local Daylesford gins. We were thrilled to find a dog-friendly spot that welcomed us with open paws. The scrumptious meal and cosy ambience made for a perfect end to our weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Nut Tree Inn – A Gastronomic Adventure<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

To satisfy our food cravings, <\/span>The Nut Tree Inn<\/span><\/a> in the Cotswolds was an absolute must-visit. This Michelin-starred pub welcomes dogs with wagging tails and serves an exquisite tasting menu serving up local produce and unusual flavour combinations all served by the most welcoming of staff!<\/span><\/p>\n

The Old Butchers, Stow on the Wold – A Seafood Haven\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

For a mid-week casual dining experience, we dined at the family-run <\/span>The Old Butchers<\/span><\/a> in Stow on the Wold. This award-winning, Michelin-recommended dog-friendly eatery is perfect for all seafood enthusiasts! not only serving up amazing fresh seafood but also creating a memorable dining experience for you and your furry friend.<\/span><\/p>\n

Daylesford Organic – Nature’s Bounty for Lunch\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

Amidst the Cotswold beauty, <\/span>Daylesford Organic Farm<\/span><\/a> with its wonderful artisan shopping is also the perfect lunch spot. Surrounded by lush gardens and offering dog-friendly spaces, it’s an oasis of calm and deliciousness. My pup and I soaked up the natural beauty while indulging in delightful organic fare.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Chequers and The Kings Head Inn – Pub Grub Galore<\/strong><\/h3>\n

For some classic pub grub, both Michelin-recommended<\/span> Chequers<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>The Kings Head Inn<\/span><\/a> embraced our four-legged friend with open arms. We enjoyed traditional dishes while sharing happy moments with the locals in these dog-friendly pubs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Fuzzy Duck – A Quirky Delight\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

On a sunny afternoon, we stopped by <\/span>The Fuzzy Duck<\/span><\/a>, known for its delicious food and pet-friendly ambience. This charming eatery provided a delightful lunch experience, leaving my pup and me with full bellies and even fuller hearts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cotswold Wildlife Park – A Wild Day Out\"\"<\/strong><\/h3>\n

No trip to the Cotswolds is complete without a visit to the <\/span>Cotswold Wildlife Park<\/span><\/a>! Surrounded by lush gardens and home to magnificent creatures, this place offers a fun-filled day for both dogs and their owners alike.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cotswolds Distillery – Cheers to Unforgettable Memories<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To cap off our journey, we visited the Cotswolds Distillery. Following a morning hike, we left Steve to relax at the cottage whilst we enjoyed a 90-minute taste and tour at The distillery where we enjoyed their exquisite spirits and a very educational tour of the Distillery. As we were driving we took a few drams away with us to enjoy in the cottage garden, It was the perfect toast to our adventure!<\/span><\/p>\n
