A study by the popular outdoor experts, Blacks<\/a>, recently revealed<\/a> the areas in the UK that are home to the most dog-friendly walking trails. This was decided based on factors like the number of trails, the amount of moderate and hard trails, and the elevation of those walking trails. It was the city of Birmingham that came out on top, with 53% of its trails being declared as dog-friendly!<\/p>\n

Watford came in second place with just half of its walking trails being called dog-welcoming. Of course, Watford has many green spaces and natural reserves to explore too, so there is no surprise as to why they ranked second. Manchester was also in the top 3 (44% of trails being dog-friendly). Other top locations included Brighton (especially for hikes), and Huddersfield in Yorkshire being the place to go for a challenge!
