Fox Terrier (Smooth Haired)

Bursting with energy and highly intelligent, the Smooth Fox Terrier needs lots of physical and mental stimulation. Try training them to do different tricks using treats as a reward and encourage them to play with a variety of different toys to stop them getting bored.  The Smooth Fox Terrier is happiest when having a good run around and exploring surrounding shrubbery for potential game. Due to their heightened hunting instincts, however, they should be kept on a lead in areas where there are small animals.
