Quick to learn, the Lakeland Terrier loves to be taught new tricks. They are easy to train if you use positive reinforcement- so give them a treat when they get something right and use a positive tone of voice. If they get bored, they start to dig so they should be kept busy with lots of different toys before they cause too much wreckage to your flowerbeds!
