Little and loving, the Miniature American Eskimo Dog can be a wonderful addition to any family. With lots of love and attention they will flourish, but if they are left to their own devices they can develop bad habits (like yapping and digging), so ensure they are entertained with lots of different toys and reward good behaviour. Training them will take time and patience, however this should be effective given their remarkable intelligence. They often appeared in the circus during the 1930s and 1940s.
