Super sensitive, the Saluki needs to be handled like the delicate dog he is. Training should be gentle with lots of positive encouragement in the form of praise and treats. Their short coat requires minimal grooming, but may need reinforcing with a jumper or jacket in the winter months. Relatively inactive indoors, they love resting on a cosy bed where they can get really comfy and settle down.
