Need to know St Bernard
These friendly dogs love to be near the family, but they don’t like warm rooms, so position their bed near a breeze or in a cooler area of the house. St. Bernards are mucky eaters (they drool when eating and drinking) so try placing a dog mat under their bowls. Their long coat needs regular brushing, but only bathe them when necessary – shampoo can strip away their natural oils, but using a dry shampoo or a mild shampoo can help. Their reputation as heroes is down to Barry, the famous alpine rescue dog.
