The property is built into the rock and so the deck feels elevated to give the feeling of being high, overlooking the dramatic coastline below. On the deck, you will find something for every mood sunbeds, dining furniture, a BBQ, all will provide you with a luxurious holiday experience and unforgettable memories. For more entertainment at the house there’s a games room with pool table, comfortable sofa, and wall mounted LCD TV with Freeview making it fun for your younger guests to enjoy.
    Rockcliffe is in the village of Aberdovey and from the balcony you can see the championship links golf course opposite, which is a must play if you’re a golfer. Aberdovey is full of things to explore on foot. There are plenty of independent shops, cafés, bars and lovely restaurants to enjoy. The beach is very popular with many water sports on offer. You can book a paddle board lesson, go surfing, sailing or even kite surfing. If the tides permit, you can even stroll along the sand all the way to Tywyn. In Tywyn visit Talyllyn Railway where you can experience a traditional journey through the Welsh countryside or venture further afield to Dolgoch Waterfall. Other attractions include Corris Mine Explorers where you can partake in excursions into an underground mine, Fairbourne Railway or how about the challenging hike up Cader Idris if you’re feeling active? Sea fishing is also available nearby.

    Enter through the entrance hall, leading to the large living area with its cosy wood burner and patio doors leading to the garden. The open plan kitchen/dining room is well-equipped with all the appliances you could need for a home-from-home stay, and also features a large dining table, great for socialising whilst the chef in the family prepares a hearty meal.
    The utility room room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and rear entrance for those with muddy boots, and there is an outside tap where you can wash your wellies off. The property boasts a games room, with a TV, PlayStation 4, football table, chess and other board games. This room leads to a spacious bedroom sleeping three on a bunk bed (with a double on the bottom and a single on the top). On this floor there is also a kingsize bedroom. Upstairs on the first floor are three further bedrooms, two double (one with an en-suite) and a twin bedroom.
    Outside, the large front garden with patio area offers a great place for some al fresco dining, along with a fabulous view. To the rear and side of the property are woodland grounds, some of which is steep and has steep drops – please supervise all children when playing in the woodland area. There are floodlights situated on each corner of the property so if you arrive in the dark you will be able to see all of the grounds.
    There are lots of walks to be had in the local area. You can walk along Barmouth viaduct and down the delightful Mawddach Trail, which runs alongside the Mawddach Estuary, to the pretty town of Dolgellau along the course of an old railway line. From Barmouth you can explore the coastline by train too. Head north to Harlech with its magnificent castle, brooding over the village, whilst to the south is Llwyngwril, home to an annual Yarnbombing project. Further south is Tywyn, home of the Talyllyn Railway, where you can enjoy a ride on a narrow gauge steam train into the hills to Nant Gwernol. Above Barmouth is Dinas Oleu, the first part of land to be given to the National Trust and the views are well worth the steep climb. If you’re into adrenaline activities, be sure to visit Blaenau Ffestiniog and Zip World, home to the largest zip wire zone in the world, and Bounce Below, the only place you are ever likely to bounce on trampoline nets in an underground slate cavern the size of St Paul’s Cathedral.     Bod Eithin is spacious and furnished to a high standard. It is ideally located for families, as it is a short walk from the award winning 4 mile long, sandy Harlech beach. It is regularly awarded as one of the finest beaches in Wales and is backed by protected sand dunes. Being a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), Morfa Harlech is now a National Nation Reserve, one of only 70 in the UK. It boasts numerous important sanctuaries for wildlife. In spring and summer keep an eye out for the three-coloured dune pansy, the pyramidal orchid or even the scarce bee orchid. When in ?ower, the dry dune grasslands are home to a number of butter?ies and moths, such as the six-spot burnet moth and the common blue and small copper butter?ies.
    Other insects such as some of our rarest mining bees who depend on bare sand and you may spot a sand lizard, too. Ringed plover nest on the beach in spring and other birds such as the skylark and stonechat breed in the dunes, with redshank and lapwing using the saltmarsh. In winter wading birds such as oystercatcher, dunlin and sanderling feed along the shoreline, and wildfowl make use of the estuaries and saltmarsh.
    Situated within the Snowdonia National Park, Bod Eithin is perfectly placed for reaching the tourist attractions of Zip World, Llanfair Slate Caverns, Shell Island, Portmeirion, Porthmadog, Barmouth, Beddgelert, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways and Coed-y-Brenin Forest. The town of Harlech is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, courtesy of Harlech Castle built in 1282 and a world record holder for the steepest street in the world at 37.54%, Fford pen Llech. The world renowned Royal St David’s Golf Course is opposite (a top 50 course in Great Britain & Ireland). Walkers, mountain bikers, climbers, bird watchers and fishermen will find plenty to test their skills in the area, and for those wanting to travel slightly further, Snowdon, the Lleyn Peninsula and Betws-y-Coed are all an easy scenic drive away. For those with a head for heights fast jets can be seen training and photographed as part of the Mach Loop and flights can be arranged from the nearby Snowdonia Flight School to take you over the summit of Snowdon. The town has a swimming pool and climbing wall with instructors available for helping young and old alike. There are excellent boutique restaurants and cafes in the town, (booking is essential in high season).

    Brig-y-Don is a spacious detached property, cleverly divided into two properties, which can be booked separately or both together if you have an extended family. The larger of the two, Brig-y-Don, sleeps six, and has a lovely kitchen/dining room with stunning views out over the sparkling waters of Cardigan Bay, and a spacious living room with a warming wood burner – ideal for relaxing in front of with a glass of wine. The smaller property, Brig-y-Don Bach, which is all on one level, has a separate entrance and a private patio to the side of the house.
