On the ground floor one end of the L shaped living area has a well equipped kitchen, a breakfast bar and a large dining table. Next to this is the atrium which is divided from the television area by a double sided wood burning stove; the chairs in the former can be stacked to make a large play space. There is also a shower room and an utility area with a washing machine and storage with extra kitchen equipment. The playroom is full of toys for small children and has an air hockey table and exercise bike for older ones. A good selection of books, games and puzzles to suit all tastes is spread around the house. The garden has separate areas. In front of the house is a good spot for the barbecue convenient for the large table with a parasol. This has uninterrupted views of the river as it is separated from the field beyond by a ha ha with steps down to the lower level. There is a raised area behind the house for enjoying the views up and down the river and a large enclosed play area with swings, slide, large trampoline, playhouse and sandpit for smaller children. For older ones there are Ninja and slack lines, a football net and rebounder, badminton set, boules, Molke and a swing ball to name but a few of the activities to be found.
