Located on Gravels Bank, your holiday let offers a tranquil setting in the heart of the village of Gravels Bank, Minsterley. For outdoor enthusiasts, there’s plenty of hiking, with the Shropshire Hills and Stiperstones National nature reserve close by. The National Trust site Attingham Park is a must-visit, only 13 miles away. Ludlow and Shrewsbury are both big foodie towns, with plenty of independent shops, coffee bars and things to explore. The Midland Gliding Centre on the top of the Longmynd and Cardingmill Valley are not to be missed, and for the more adventurous there are nearby outdoor attractions from quad trekking, mountain boarding, zip wire, high ropes, clay pigeon shoots and archery. This terraced holiday property is one of the few remaining Georgian town houses situated in the market town of Cleobury Mortimer and provides an ideal base from which the explore the three counties of Shropshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. All local amenities including pubs, restaurants, takeaways and many individual shops such as grocers and butchers are on the doorstep. The property also has a small cottage garden to the rear where you can enjoy the peace and quiet away from the bustle of the town. Centrally located on the A4117 between Kidderminster and Ludlow. A visit to Ludlow with its castle and tudor historic centre is a must while sampling some of the renowned culinary delights. Visit Bewdley with the Severn Valley Railway and West Midlands Safari Park. For keen walkers a visit to nearby Clee Hill with its outstanding views from the top is a must, or perhaps venture slightly further afield over the border into Wales to take the challenge of Offa’s Dyke Path or Glyndw’rs Way. For a more leisurely drive and stroll why not visit the many pretty black and white villages which include Eardisland and Pembridge, both within easy reach. The cities of Hereford and Worcester provide an interesting day out with many National Trust properties and gardens along the way. This detached lodge is set in the grounds of former historic estate and overlooks ground belonging to the owner, and is set just across from a historic walled garden. There is a very popular local pub in the village within walking and driving distance.
The property is located just outside the village of Baschurch, which is near Oswestry and Shrewsbury, both of which have a number of boutique shops, bars and restaurants for visitors to choose from. The area has much to see and do for all guests, including a selection of museums and art galleries, and the Theatre Severn which stages musicals, dramas and live concerts. The owner has friendly pet pigs, dogs and horses.

A lovely barn conversion set in the Shropshire countryside just 10 miles from the historic town of Shrewsbury. Offering spacious accommodation, this beautifully appointed barn with modern styling and high-quality furnishings has been lovingly restored and retains all the original beams. The large utility room leads into the vaulted open-plan kitchen and dining area with beautifully restored original exposed beams. This bright and airy area naturally allows for social interactions while the dinner is being prepared. The kitchen is fully fitted and well-equipped, and patio doors lead out onto the seating area within the gravel garden. Further into the cottage is the relaxing living area with a wood burner, comfortable seating, and a Smart TV. The bedrooms and bathroom are at the far end of the cottage. Both bedrooms have exposed beams and feature brickwork walls. The garden is equipped with a pergola, a seating area with wooden tables, and chairs, and a barbecue. The lockable shed within the garden is suitable for storing bikes. Set within the grounds of Springfield Barns is a 2-acre field that guests can use along with the owners and other guests. There is also a second seating area off the dining area that catches the morning sun.
The Coach House is situated just outside the village of Baschurch which is near Shrewsbury and Ellesmere. Baschurch offers pubs, takeaways, churches, a large convenience store, and a cash point. The local bus, which operates between Shrewsbury and Ellesmere, collects and drops off on Springfield Barn main drive allowing guests to leave the car behind.
Shropshire is a gem of a county with so much to explore within easy reach, and is home to Ironbridge World Heritage Site and numerous National Trust sites including Attingham Park. Shrewsbury town offers fantastic fresh dining, individual shops, craft markets, museums, art galleries, and the stunning Dingle set within the Quarry Park.
