Axe Valley Wildlife Park is a fun day out with the kids as is the Seaton Tramway and Pecorama in Beer or River Cottage. You will find a local pub/restaurant and farm shop within a 5-minute walk of the properties, alternatively, jump in the car and explore the many things to do within a short drive. Axminster has small independent shops as well as larger stores and a railway station, so you could leave the car at home and hop aboard and head down to Exeter for a day in the city sampling restaurants or a spot of retail therapy!
The Jurassic Coast beaches of Lyme Regis and Charmouth are just 20 minutes from you, here you can walk the promenade, swim in the sea or have an ice cream at Lyme, or hunt for Fossils in Charmouth while your dog swims in the river or the sea.
