Sycamore Cottage was originally a barn, dating from the heyday of the lead mining industry. It has been furnished to create a homely atmosphere and is the ideal property in which to kick back and relax. The charming garden is enclosed and provides a small lawn and a nice eating area, as well as a higher patio area with lovely views. Situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre of Grassington, it is on the Dales Way and so well placed for both long hill walking and easier riverside walking straight from the door.
Take advantage of Grassington’s wide selection of pubs, restaurants and cafés, together with interesting independent shops, or in the local town hall, you can play snooker or badminton. A little further afield lies the bustling market town of Skipton, where you can enjoy canal cruises, golf, or the indoor swimming pool. Although there are no great views from inside the property, the secluded and cosy interior, large communal kitchen, and great village location with parking for two cars, more than compensates. Bee Keepers Cottage is located on a working farm on the edge of Derbyshire’s Peak District, the cottage overlooks the 18 hole golf course at Shirland Golf and country club where visitors day passes are available.

The cottage has beautiful rural views and offers guests the peace and quiet of rural living yet within easy access of local attractions and transport networks, and there is a golf course boarding the property’s grounds and miles of footpath networks adjacent to the farm.
