Here you’ll find the glistening Llyn Y Fan Fach dammed lake and learn all about the legend of The Lady of The Lake, as well as the Red Kite Feeding station at Llanddeusant where you can watch the feeding display for Red Kites and buzzards, an unforgettable experience.

The scenic Tywi Valley is just a short drive away and is home to numerous majestic sites dotted along its glistening river, where you’ll find the 12th-century castles of Carreg Cennen and Dryslwyn and the enchanting gardens and nature reserve of Dinefwr Castle and Par. The elegant market town of Llandelio can also found here, providing a wealth of eclectic gifts shops, highly acclaimed restaurants and traditional Welsh pubs, with fine ales and fresh local produce always on the menu! This lovely 1900s barn was formerly a cow shed and milking parlour, and has been converted to a high standard with luxury fixtures and fittings. It is situated on a working beef and sheep farm with a pedigree Hereford suckler herds, sheep and goats and lies adjacent to the owners’ home. This semi-detached property is all one level and has a family bathroom, a double bedroom with en-suite facilities and a twin bedroom. The corridor leads to an open plan living space and the fabulous fitted kitchen has all the necessary appliances you could need. There is also a lovely breakfast bar for you to enjoy your meals whilst looking at the open countryside through the patio doors. Ammanford itself has a coffee roastery serving fantastic coffee as well as breakfasts. There is also a large selection of shops, supermarkets and local pubs, some serving good food and with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and castles. Pantyffynnon station is within walking distance of the property on Heart of Wales line to Shrewsbury or Cardiff in the other
direction.
There is also plenty to do in the area, with the beaches of Gower approximately 18 miles. The lovely old market town of Llandeilo, situated on the River Towy, is just 6 miles away with boutiques and galleries, and hosts various festivals throughout the year, including the Jazz Festival and the Gin Festival. This charming Farmhouse is situated amongst the beautiful rolling Carmarthenshire countryside. Typicca Farmhouse is the main house on the owners working sheep farm and situated mid-way between the picturesque hamlet of Felingwm and the hills and mountain bike trials of Brecfa. Walkers and cyclists will adore exploring the beautiful surroundings made famous for their outdoor activities, with mountain biking, pony trekking, bird watching and miles of walking trails available for all abilities.

The Berm derives its name from the ancient word for earth mound or fortification. This Berm has been thoughtfully constructed by its owner-architect landscaped into the hillside, keeping nature and the environment at heart.

As suggested by the name, this farm building was originally used as a boot room and has been converted into a cosy, one-bedroom holiday cottage. With your own private entrance and courtyard to the front, The Old Boot Room is adjacent to the farmhouse where the owners live. Inside, is an open-plan living space with a seating area, TV and a kitchenette with breakfast bar. There is one bedroom with a double bed, and a shower room. The quirks of the building remain to maximise the space – note the uneven floors.
The Old Boot Room is perfect for a cosy, countryside retreat. Located on a smallholding, you may even get to see some farm animals (if you are bringing your furry friend, please be mindful of other animals at the farm). A stone’s throw from the farm is the quiet, rural village of Llanfynydd where you’ll find the local pub – perfect to relax in after a day out.
