Hafan Dawel is situated adjacent to the owner’s home, and is all on one level, enjoying large patio doors leading to the terrace so you can enjoy those glorious views.     Aberporth is 5 minutes’ drive away and offers pubs, cafés and two stunning beaches; it’s the perfect destination to explore the three counties of west Wales being centrally located to Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, and Ceredigion.
    Travel south to the traditional market town of Cardigan, where the beautifully restored castle is not to be missed with 900 years of history to uncover. Enjoy a short walk into the village to discover the traditional Welsh pub or a freshly brewed coffee in the village café. There’s so much to explore in Cardigan Bay but if you want a day out to Pembrokeshire you can reach the well-known family attractions of Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo within an hour’s drive.     A trip to Cardigan is a must, try the bustling local farmers market and visit the restored Cardigan Castle with over 900 years of history waiting to be explored. The Welsh Wildlife Centre is located in the nearby small village of Cilgerran and is one of the best wetland reserves in Wales. Perhaps take a short drive to Cenarth Falls, where if your lucky enough, you may see the salmon leaping up through the falls travelling upstream. The colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron is nearby and is worth a visit, as is the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron. Visit the coastal towns of Aberystwyth or Cardigan, both an easy drive away, or venture inland to the market towns of Lampeter, Tregaron or Newcastle Emlyn.

    Set near the small hamlet of Ponthirwaun and close to the historic market town of Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn, where you can find a plethora of restaurants, shops and a theatre. A visit to Cenarth Falls really is not to be missed and around a 5-minute drive, if timed well, you can see the salmon leaping up the falls which really is a fantastic sight. Nearby is the Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran, which runs along the banks of the River Teifi, made famous for coracle fishing.

    Locally there is a host of beaches to discover with Aberporth, Poppit Sands and Mwnt beach all within a 30-minute drive and perfect for fishing, kayaking and canoeing. Take a walk along some of the 186 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park footpath, just waiting to be enjoyed, and runs from Cardigan through to Amroth in the south. Try your hand at coasteering, surfing or paddle boarding, or take a boat trip to observe the dolphins and other wildlife.
