    Betws-y-Coed known as the ‘gateway to the Snowdonia National Park’ is only 9 miles distance, a popular destination for all age groups. A bustling spot with many highly rated eateries to enjoy, friendly pubs, a variety of fabulous shops selling local items, and various outdoor pursuit shops. The golf club is also in central Betws-y-Coed and welcomes visitors.
    There are many scenic walks to explore, along rivers and waterfalls, Llyn (lake) Elsi sits above Betws Y Coed and is well worth the hike up. Just down the valley from Betws-y-Coed is the famous Marin Bike Trails, with colour-coded routes suitable for all abilities. Just up the road from here is Llyn Geirionydd (Geirionydd Lake) which is a wonderful spot for a day out where you can take a swim, or use your paddle boards and kayaks, and there are picnic benches available, as well as free parking and toilets here.
