The Gwydyr Forest is on the doorstep and offers much for the outdoor enthusiast, from walking and cycling to birdwatching and horse riding. It is also home to Zip World Fforest where you can try out a number of exciting adrenaline activities including the amazing Fforest Coaster. Being located in the Snowdonia National Park, you’ll find some amazing scenery on the doorstep, and Snowdon itself (at 3,560ft it’s the highest mountain in Wales and England) is within easy reach, as is Surf Snowdonia (3 miles away), the world’s first artificial surfing lagoon.
