The Leat was completed just a few years ago and this beautiful barn conversion is a spacious and very well presented property. Set out in reverse style, the first floor has a large open plan living room, dining room and kitchen with a lovely high ceiling and exposed beams. The main living area is kept snug and cosy with a wood burning stove and is furnished with two comfortable sofa beds. All the bedrooms are spacious with pine floors. Tizzy Barn (CWC488161) is a beautiful barn conversion that boasts superb open plan living downstairs yet maintains a traditional feel. There is a cosy wood burner and comfy sofas which will make it a treat for a winter break. At the other end of the building is a set of French windows that open out into the enclosed patio garden. Liskeard, EnglandAcorns is a comfortable two storey one bedroom cottage, occupying one end of the Owners’ superb, converted granite barn which used to be an old threshing barn. Located in a small hamlet of about ten houses and converted barns, this peaceful rural location is a wonderful place to escape to at any time of year. A great dog friendly cottage too! The barn itself is set out in reverse style with open plan living space on the first floor and access into the enclosed garden. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with external access, a large bathroom with original Victorian roll-top bath, and a separate shower.

Crackington Haven, EnglandMadison is a lovely Swedish designed, detached holiday property situated not far from the beach and benefiting from being just under 8 miles from the popular seaside town of Bude. The property can comfortably accommodate eight guests with all rooms on one level.
There are three bedrooms; one with a super kingsize bed, Smart TV and a lovely en-suite with a multi spray unit, double walk-in shower plus a bath and the other two both being twins (one with a handy sink in it). A visit to the English Heritage site of Tintagel Castle, where legend and historical fact alike meet stunning scenery, is a definite must while in the area and for Arthurian enthusiasts it is unmissable! There are many beaches in the area for surfers and sunseekers alike including Trebarwith and Bossiney Cove. Much of the North Cornish coastline is owned by the National Trust and is a haven for wildlife, providing fabulous walking opportunities with many well-trodden routes. A bit further to the south is the fishing port of Padstow and quaint Port Isaac of Doc Martin fame and 16 miles to the north is the fabulous coastal town of Bude. If you fancy crossing over the ‘border’ into Devon and enjoy open spaces then Dartmoor National Park is 27 miles or so to the east – here you can enjoy a day of walking and discover the vast moorland and roam the craggy landscape, defined by forests, rivers, wetlands and rock formations or tors. Above Portscatho lies the village of Gerrans, only a 5-minute walk up the hill. The mediaeval church, that stands opposite, has served as an invaluable landmark to generations of local fishermen. Take the cliff path north out of Portscatho and in under 20 minutes you’ll be standing on the beautiful Porthcurnick beach. At low tide Porthcurnick has acres of flat sand perfect for games of cricket, but you might have to wade out a bit to get a decent swim! Further east still are Carne beach and Pendower beach which at low tide join to form an even bigger expanse of sand where dogs are allowed all year round.
