The living area has comfortable sofas perfect for relaxing into at the end of a busy day exploring the local area. Also on the first floor are two bathrooms, a family bathroom and further bathroom with large shower while on the ground floor are four bedrooms all with comfortable beds and storage; two double rooms, one room with bunk beds and the final bedroom with a sofa bed and access to the decked garden. A detached garage is available to store bikes, SUPs, kayaks, or boards about 25m down the lane.
The Elizabethan harbour of Boscastle is infamous for the floods of 2004 which devastated the village. Now it is once again picture perfect with a delightful selection of gift shops, public houses, cafes, restaurants, and hotels. Boscastle has one of the most outstanding sections of the coast path with majestic promontories, crashing surf, secluded coves, and long beaches with soft, golden sand. The stunning towns of Port Isaac, Rock and Padstow are a short drive to the west and are well worth a trip.
On Bodmin Moor, Dozmary pond is thought to contain Arthur’s Excalibur, and Merlin is thought to be still found walking under Tintagel Island. Camelford is a great centre for touring, walking, fishing, swimming, or surfing holidays. The town is steeped in history and has excellent shopping and sporting facilities. The Leat was completed just a few years ago and this beautiful barn conversion is a spacious and very well presented property. Set out in reverse style, the first floor has a large open plan living room, dining room and kitchen with a lovely high ceiling and exposed beams. The main living area is kept snug and cosy with a wood burning stove and is furnished with two comfortable sofa beds. All the bedrooms are spacious with pine floors.
