    Fairview (CWC561946) is a reverse level, semi-detached cottage with an entrance on the first floor and a large living/dining room, a cosy wood-burning stove, there is a west-facing conservatory down a couple of steps with sofa and access to a small private garden. A family bedroom on the first floor provides a level living area for those with a mobility issue. On the ground floor are further bedrooms and a family bathroom. Barn Cottage (CWC562587) is also a reverse level, semi-detached cottage with two bedrooms on the ground floor.
    This is a real farm experience, fresh free-range eggs are available from the owners, and there are a number of walks across the delightful 150 acres. This is a dog-friendly property however please note that it is a working Beef and Sheep farm, so dogs must be kept under control.
    Further along the coast is Sandymouth, a large beach ideal for families due to its lovely sand, rock pools and tea rooms. A short drive north over the border into Devon leads to the quaint village of Hartland which has a magnificent church with an amazing painted ceiling and one of the tallest towers in England. Hartland Quay has a hotel and Wreckers Bar as the coast here is littered with wrecks and is a lovely spot for some lunch. Also well worth a visit is the world-famous fishing village of Clovelly. The cobbled, traffic-free, high street is built into a cleft in a 400’ high cliff and tumbles its way down past whitewashed cottages festooned with flowers to the tiny working port. Beach 2 miles.

    Holsworthy is a historic market town just 2½ miles away with a good selection of local shops, a supermarket, amenities, a golf club and an indoor swimming pool and leisure centre. The village of Pyworthy, with its popular village inn and restaurant, is just ½ mile away. Bude is nearby with its historic castle, vibrant town centre and great range of good restaurants and bars and is perfect for a day out. While water sport enthusiasts can try their hand on the surf at one of the fabulous beaches. There is a range of water sports and fishing available at the nearby Tamar Lakes, as well as coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, horse riding, cycling on the National Cycle Route which passes by the cottage, or simply relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. There is something for everyone in this stunning location. With pretty fishing villages and spectacular beaches and coves dotted all along this coastline from Padstow, Tintagel, Crackington Haven and Bude in Cornwall to Westward Ho!, Clovelly and Instow in Devon, and for a great day out, the famous Eden Project is within easy reach.
