These holiday cottages are beautifully refurbished and are perfectly located for exploring the rugged north coast with its surf, coastal paths and long stretches of sandy beaches, and the south coast with its hidden coves and tranquil sailing waters. The area is popular with walkers as the site is close to the National Trust coastal path and just a few yards from the Coast to Coast Mineral Tramway. Cycle hire available close by.

- St Austell, EnglandClose to the once thriving mining town of St Austell, you will find this superb Victorian house. Sympathetically modernised, yet retaining many delightful and original features such as stunning fireplaces, floor tiles, stained glass door and bright bay windows. There is private parking to the rear of the property and from here you walk up the steps to your front door, The entrance hallway, with it’s attractive floor tiling, leads of to the right revealing a living room with high ceilings, superb bay window, ultra-comfy sofas and open fireplace. There is a Smart TV so you can catch up on all your favourite shows too. The next room is a games room, complete with blue baize pool table and dartboard, along with an original and ornate feature fireplace and door leading to the garden. The spacious kitchen/dining room has lots of storage and work areas, with white units and tiling complimenting the light wood style floor. Offset is a small utility area complete with washing machine and a sliding door leads to a downstairs toilet. Take the stairs to the first floor where you will find four bedrooms. The first has a kingsize bed, with stylish en-suite comprising a double shower. Bedroom two has twin beds for flexibility, whilst bedroom three boasts a further kingsize bed. The final room has childrens favourites with traditional bunk beds. The modern family bathroom has a bath for those all important long, leisurely soaks with power shower over. The rear garden is split on two levels. The lower patio area has seating for the whole family to enjoy while dining al fresco, leading up a 7 steps to a smaller area.
Carlyon Bay has some incredible beaches, the area is great for swimming, exploring rockpools and diverse wildlife. The world famous Eden Project with it’s Biomed indoor rainforest is just to the east of St Austell, the magical Lost Gardens of Heligan a short drive to the south west, the picturesque Roseland Peninsula with its quaint fishing villages is within half an hour’s drive and Newquay’s vibrant surfing lifestyle and golden beaches are a similar distance to the north. Superbly located to explore the nearby town of St Austell with its many amenities and shops, a visit to the pretty port town of Fowey, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its narrow streets and boutique shops lies just to the east. Polperro, long associated with tales of smugglers and wreckers, is a step back in time and is a must visit, whilst the bustling harbour town of Looe has many restaurants and pubs that serve local seafood on their menus.
