Venture further afield and take the scenic route along the heritage coast to discover Padstow, with its excellent, celebrity chef-inspired restaurants, galleries, boutique shops, narrow streets and buzzing quayside. Port Isaac, ‘home’ to the ‘Doc Martin’ TV series, is enchanting and inland the town of Wadebridge awaits, where you can hire a bike and follow the fabulous Camel Trail to Padstow or south-east to Bodmin, with its wild and mysterious moor, spectacular views and woodland just waiting to be explored.
