The Old Smithy is a deceptively spacious and very comfortable detached holiday property, sitting in the gorgeous hamlet of Penelewey on the outskirts of Feock, in a prestigious creek side location. Falmouth, The National Maritime Museum, is just a short 15-minute drive with its busy port and harbour, bustling marinas, and is host to numerous prestigious sailing and yachting events. Foodies love Falmouth, as it is home to many famous fish restaurants, great bars and cafés dotted along the marina. Events Square has many alfresco dining areas and stages high profile events throughout the year.

Take one of the ferries or water taxis to visit St Mawes, Flushing or the picturesque Helford River. The area boasts some of the UK’s best sub-tropical gardens, including Trelissick Gardens, which is just a mile down the road, or Trebah and Durgan, which are located close to the Helford River. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are also within easy driving distance.

There is a quintessential English pub just a short stroll away, which serves excellent local food and ale. The nearby creek side village of Devoran also offers great pubs and restaurants.
