This spacious detached end of road holiday property provides breathtaking views across the mile long south west facing golden sands of Praa Sands and out to Mount Bay. The large flat patio area is ideal for relaxing after an enjoyable day. Up a steep slope, the smaller upper patio has further breathtaking views. Access to the beautiful sandy beach with surf school and summer lifeguard patrol, and the scenic coastal pathway is down a small path a few yards away. This is truly a wonderful location for a great family holiday whatever the time of year. From this central location a short drive will take you to the golf course, Flambards at Helston, sailing at Newlyn and restaurants in Porthleven. Cornwall’s oldest charter town of Marazion overlooks the 12th century St Michael’s Mount (NT) accessed by a romantic causeway walk at low tide. Travelling on further south one will enter another world, the beautiful Lizard Peninsula. Almost untouched, it is flush with rare wild flowers, unspoilt fishing villages and sheltered beaches. It is home to the massive serpentine stacks of Kynance Cove and caves at low tide and the secret location of the real Frenchman’s Creek. The Lizard village offers craft shops, art galleries, cafes and inns clustered around the village green. A walk to the lighthouse, lifeboat station and mainland Britain’s most southerly point is a must. Also close by is the ancient coinage town of Helston famous for its Furry Dance held in May each year. Shops and pub 1/4 mile.

Sea Home is a lovely family house with three of its four bedrooms conveniently located on the ground floor. The fourth, a superb master bedroom with en-suite bedroom is set on the first floor as is the library, a tranquil area in the house if you are looking for a spot of privacy from the rest of your party. There are views from most rooms including bedroom two, bedroom one, the library, the living room with comfortable seating for six, and the dining room which has a large table and seating for six.
This property has a strong Vodafone signal and a comprehensive information pack with useful phone numbers and addresses for the local area. The welcome hamper includes Spanish Cava, biscuits, coffee, chocolate, cheese, grapes and chutney. Inside, you will find a fantastic quality kitchen equipped with NEFF appliances, a treat for any keen cook. French doors open between the living and the dining areas making this the ideal space for entertaining, or simply enjoying a special meal with your family. Why not step out onto the terrace and enjoy your meal outdoors and take in the breath-taking sea views.
A stone’s throw away from Sea Home is the mile long sandy beach patrolled daily by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution Coastguard. Access to The Southwest Coastal Path is also less than a minute away providing excellent walking opportunities to the iconic harbour of Porthleven to the east and to Prussia Cove and St Michael’s Mount to the west.
Praa Sands Village is a short walk from Sea Home and has no shortage of local amenities including the StonesReef beachfront complex, a pub and restaurant, cafes and a general hardware and gift store. There is also a 9-hole Golf course, a fuel station and a Co-Op a short distance away.

This is a beautiful stone cottage that looks like it has been part of the scenery for years but was, in fact, a derelict barn that had fallen into complete disarray until it was lovingly rebuilt by the owner.
There are cleverly designed windows and Velux skylights that make it a surprisingly bright and welcoming cottage, wide patio doors that open from the living/dining room into the garden, a terraced area to the rear of the property and a good sized garden. The kitchen is well-equipped and dream to cook in, any budding chef will enjoy cooking a holiday feast here. Both bedrooms are spacious with a master bedroom with kingsize bed and second bedroom with double bed and single bed, along with a truly luxurious bathroom with separate shower and bath.
Trennal Barn is situated just outside the quiet hamlet of Godolphins Cross and is a couple of miles inland from some of the south coast’s best beaches; Praa Sands is south facing, sandy and has lifeguard cover during the season, it can have quite large waves and is frequented by surfers when the conditions are right. The main Helston - Penzance road provides good access to all modern amenities and tourist attractions from St Michaels Mount to Flambards with a wealth of pretty little bays, promontories and traditional fishing villages.
Praa Sands in the Southwest of Cornwall is located between Helston and Penzance. The town contains many facilities including a shop, pub, post office and Praa Sands Gold Club. Nearby Helston is famous for its Floral Dance in May, a day when the whole town stops and dresses up for the days many dances through the streets. From Penzance you can take the Scillonian for a day trip to the picturesque Isles of Scilly. Facilities for golf, sailing, course and sea fishing are all available within two miles. You can take country and coastal walks or visit local country pubs for well-priced meals or shop in the local super stores at Helston and Penzance. Beach 2¼ miles.

Beautiful views along the Cornish coast greet visitors to this single-storey, light and spacious property. The property features a split level, open plan living and dining area, each with bi-fold doors opening out onto patio areas, affording stunning sea views, with gardens front and back. Dog friendly, this is the perfect place from which to explore this unique part of Cornwall.
The house is tastefully furnished and comfortable all year round with a wood burner and central heating. Standing on the headland above the picturesque village of Port Gaverne, the house is a few steps from the north Cornwall coastal path. The beach at Port Gaverne is a 6-7 minute walk away and a little further is Port Isaac, with its huddle of slate houses and narrow alleyways.
The state-of-the-art kitchen is great for catering and cooking the fresh local produce. There are two excellent fish shops in Port Isaac that sell their daily catch of fish and shellfish; specialities are crab and lobster.
Local lamb, beef and pork are all available at the nearby farm shop, which has wonderful views overlooking the sea.
Famous now as the setting for the TV series ’Doc Martin’, Port Isaac is a working fishing village with shops, bars and several top-quality restaurants.
This area is now renowned as a ’foodie paradise’, with several celebrity chefs located here and the area is very well served by a whole variety of dining places to fit every pocket.
Close by is a hotel and next door is a bistro, which has indoor and outdoor dining. There are two Michelin starred restaurants in Port Isaac run by Nathan Outlaw. Nearby in Padstow is Paul Ainsworth’s Michelin starred restaurant and he has a great pub too. Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant and Cookery School are in Padstow. Rick Stein also has a number of other restaurants with varying price ranges.
This is an ideal spot for those who enjoy coastal walks, bird watching, golf, fishing, surfing, sailing, kayaking, cycling or just lazing on the beach. Polzeath’s famous surf attracts all comers, and its glorious sandy beach is just a short drive away. The cliffs, caves and rock pools are a children’s paradise.
Within an easy drive are Padstow, Tintagel, Boscastle, Bude and Wadebridge.
Wadebridge hosts one end of the Camel Trail, with a 5-mile dedicated cycle ride to Padstow on the old railway track, alongside the picturesque Camel Estuary. To the north stands Tintagel’s medieval castle and the quaint fishing village of Boscastle, with Crackington Haven and Bude a little further on. Inland lies Jamaica Inn and Bodmin Moor, the setting for the ’Poldark’ stories.
A few minutes’ walk away is a water sports centre, Cornish Rock Tors, based on the beach at Port Gaverne. They offer kayaking, paddle boarding and coasteering for individuals and groups. Polzeath’s famous surf attracts all comers, and its glorious sandy beach is just a short drive away. Water sports can be enjoyed at Rock, from where a passenger ferry crosses the Camel Estuary to the town of Padstow. Daymer Bay has another glorious sandy beach, and the golf course at St Enodoc is open to the public. John Betjeman, the late Poet Laureate, is buried at St Enodoc Church, with its twisted spire.

Solar panels help heat the house and water while providing free electrical car charging for our guests’ electric vehicle.

Over the past year (2022), the house has been renovated to the highest standards by one of the country’s leading interior designers and offers plenty of living space all benefitting from exceptional sea views and floor to ceiling sliding doors leading to a large decking area. The large circular fireplace makes for cosy evenings during the Autumn and Winter months. The brand-new handmade kitchen is well supplied with all creature comforts from a juicer to a selection of coffee machines, including a Nespresso. A door leads into a separate TV room with a big corner sofa, both with fabulous sea views and door to the terrace. Three ground floor bedrooms, ome with chandelier, two with those stunning views. A beautiful glass and oak staircase leads from the entrance hall up to the first floor where you will find three more bedrooms; a double bedroom with en-suite shower room; a large twin bedroom with large en-suite shower room, and one with a TV and sofa bed which enjoys the best views of all.

The beach is just a 5-minute walk away from the garden gate. Off the drive, there is a lawned area and to the side of the house a heated outdoor shower for when you return from the beach. The equipment store has a range of children’s wetsuits and storage for boards. Once cleaned off, you can luxuriate in the state-of-the-art Aspen and Spruce spa with a sauna, experiential shower plus cold water bucket for the brave. Situated mid-way between Padstow and Newquay, Mawgan Porth offers you a beautiful west facing beach, stunning scenery, wondrous walks, superb surfing, an amazing variety of restaurants to suit everyone’s taste and pocket, including a cosy pub, seafood restaurant, cafés, and takeaways all within walking distance of Blue Seas. Just over a mile outside Padstow, you are ideally situated to visit the many tourist attractions that the north coast has to offer. Padstow has an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, including Rick Stein’s fish restaurant. You are close to the Camel Trail, where you can walk or cycle along a disused railway track by the Camel Estuary, taking in the bird life, to Wadebridge and beyond to Bodmin. Just a short drive away are the many sandy beaches of the north coast, including Watergate Bay, the home of extreme watersports. Visit the famous surfing beaches of Newquay, as well as a zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium. Horse riding and golf nearby. Beach 2½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Put your favourite show on the large Smart TV and relax, there’s even a TV in the dining room too! Patio doors lead out to the garden which is perfect for your four-legged friend or for the kids to burn off some energy. The picturesque village of Charlestown with shops, restaurants and bars is a short stroll away, but what it’s famous for is its harbour and tall ships. One visit to this area of South Cornwall won’t be enough.
