Continue a short distance to Penzance, with its harbour and marina overlooking the sweeping Mounts Bay. Stroll along the promenade to Newlyn, with its famous art gallery and fishing fleet, and continue around the coast to the pretty sheltered harbour of Mousehole, with its winding alleyways lined with art and craft shops. The famous Mousehole Christmas Lights attract vast numbers of visitors from around the UK during the winter season. Cornwall’s north coast, with its popular tourist destination St Ives, is also a short drive from the property.
The area is popular with walkers, bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts alike, with marshes at Marazion and Hayle Estuary. There’s also a seal sanctuary at Gweek, and families with young children might want to explore Flambards Theme Park at Helston.
