Camelford, EnglandThis spacious, well-appointed and privately situated detached bungalow is located in the grounds of the caravan club site near Tintagel. The nearby South-West Coastal Path passes through some of the most dramatic scenery of its route.
Away from the coast, explore the beauty of Bodmin Moor, a vast moorland peppered with fascinating granite Tors. The Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway chugs along for 6 miles and back and will delight children of all ages including steam train enthusiasts.

By hiring a pony, it is possible to ride cross-country to the beaches of Porth Joke and Holywell, without the need to cross any roads.

The immediate area is renowned for its superb sandy surfing beaches, punctuated by craggy headlands. Perranporth (named after the patron saint of tin miners) is 10 miles to the south, famous for its drifting sands which have twice buried the church. Further along is St Agnes with its superb coastal views, while to the south lies Truro, the unofficial capital of Cornwall, offering good shops and restaurants, a splendid cathedral and The Royal Cornwall Museum with extensive displays of the county.

Twelveheads, EnglandThis pretty little cottage sits in the owners’ beautifully maintained garden, deep in the Cornish countryside and provides an ideal base while visiting many areas of Cornwall. Although nearer the tranquil south coast, the dramatic north coast, with its excellent surfing beaches, is easily reached. The Little House is just yards from the ‘Mineral Tramways Trail’, one of Cornwall’s many cycle networks that links the north coast at Portreath to the South coast near Falmouth. It is popular with walkers, cyclists, horse riders and sightseers as it passes through a rich mining heritage area, dotted with old mine archaeology. A cycle hire centre, shop and café are approximately 1 mile from the front door, right on the trail itself. The world famous Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Lizard Peninsula, which is the location of Lizard Point and the most southerly point of the country, are all easily accessible from the property. The ancient seafaring town of Falmouth is approx 6 miles away, and provides an excellent centre for many activities such as sailing, windsurfing, pleasure trips and diving.
